£12 per person annually (there’s no joining fee).
Who can join?
Any resident of Great Dunmow or surrounding villages.
Is there an age limit?
No
Must I be able to speak French?
No, some members have little or no French, but many Dourdan Twinners speak English. If necessary we will try to match you with English speakers.
Are fundraising events pricey?
Currently £10 to £20 (depending), they have a reputation for value.
Must I go on the May visit to Dourdan?
No, but you get much more out of Twinning if you do.
Must I entertain Dourdan visitors?
No, but you will get much more out of Twinning if you do.
Can I go on autumn visits without taking part in the longer May visits?
Yes, you can.
Must I go on the UK day trips?
No, some people are unable to go on these, it doesn’t matter.
We realise it is not always possible to participate in everything so we try to be flexible.
